Espace Karite
The club-producing organic shea butter is the coordinating structure of production and organizational activities of member associations involved in organic farming for shea in Burkina Faso.
Consisting only of women (3 associations, formed in 1176 producing 23 tonnes in 2004, 18 in 2005 and 56 in 2006), whose mission is to eliminate risks associated with the use of chemicals on the health of the man and the environment, the club is involved in organic area of 8943.4 hectors in area, have 362 095 registered and certified organic shea trees.

¨Le club des productrices de beurre de karité biologique est la structure de coordination des activités de production et d’organisation des associations membres intervenant dans l’agriculture biologique du karité au Burkina Faso.
¨Constitué uniquement de femmes (3 associations, 1176 productrices formées, 23 tonnes livrées en 2004, 18 en 2005, et 56 en 2006), ayant pour vocation l’élimination des risques liés à l’utilisation des produits chimique sur la santé de l’homme et l’environnement, le club intervient sur un territoire biologique de 8943,4 ha de superficie, disposant de 362 095 arbres recensés et certifiés.

¨Face aux exigences du marché sur la des produits du beurre, l’ESPACE KARITE club bio du Burkina Faso s’est engagé à produire et à mettre sur les marchés aux niveaux national et international du beurre de qualité irréprochable et ce sous la conduite de structure internationales de certification.
